Immersify is a virtual reality platform consisting of hardware and software whose primary goal is to provide a level of immersion for a user that current platforms do not provide. This is accomplished through the use of accelerometers, an HMD, and an API to allow for simple interfacing.

This is a CS/CPE 426 senior project for the Spring 2011 semester at UNR, instructed by Dr. Sergiu Dascalu, advised by Dr. Dwight Egbert and Sushil Louis.

Some applications of Immersify include the following:

  • Compatability with any game that uses a keyboard and mouse for input
  • Simulations based on user movement
  • Virtual reality games
